New “toys”

The reality of living in extreme poverty means our kids show up to our mission house playing with “toys” such as old bullet shells they found in the streets and they don’t understand why they aren’t a safe toy. Praying protection over these sweet babies today and everyday as they live their life. Thankful we are able to love on and invest in these kids daily with the help of our monthly sponsors! #missionaryatheart

Reality of Mother’s Day

Today is Mother’s Day in the Dominican Republic. A day with huge celebrations much bigger than here in the States. But for most of our kids it is a lonely day living in the streets watching all the other families celebrate. Most of kids don’t have a family or a mom. Their moms have either abandoned them, passed away, or abused them so badly it wasn’t safe for them to live at home so they chose to live in the streets. But with your help we are able to give these children a sense of home where they can learn about the love of our Savior who will never forsake them. Please pray for all of our kids that look to me as gthe only momma they have and that they will feel the love of Jesus and the love you all have for each of them! #missionaryatheart
