Friends my heart is broken and I need your prayers! There is power when two or more come together in prayer! My town in the Dominican has had a dengue fever outbreak declared by the government. It's a huge deal. Because of the massive amounts of rain we have had the past few weeks there are huge standing puddles of water. Please be in prayer for all of my kids and families. ESPECIALLY my kids and adults who don't have the immune system to fight off the fever. Dengue consists of about at least a week of completely being miserable. Chills, high fever, etc. Please pray for my kids and families! This missionaries heart is broken! #missionaryatheart
Burn Victim
Do yall remember the post a few weeks ago about Shanaka, my four year old little burn victim in the Dominican? Well the photo on the right is her now! She is doing so much better! She is going to have a lot of scaring but we will take it! Thankful we dodged all infection and she is healed! God is good! (PS here's a little fun fact as to why I'm always begging for medical supplies...over the past 6 weeks we used 30 rolls of tape, several hundred gauze pads, 42 burn medicated gauze pads, and 50 rolls of gauze on Shanaka's burns) #missionaryatheart
